Alnclair Golden Retrievers

Australian Champion Alnclair Anzac Edward

Eddie is a "sooky" boy who also entertains his human family with his own little "party tricks".  He spent most of his life with our dear friends Deb and Greg and spent 6 months travelling around Australia with them.  We were lucky to be able to still show him occasionally and we all mourn his passing in 2021 at the age of 14.

" Eddie"

Eddie gets his last points for his title with BOB, intermediate of group and a run for "Best in Gundog Group".  Thanks to all the judges who have appreciated and rewarded his virtues.  We are proud of Eddie's championship title, but most special to us is the fact that he was placed in the top 3 at the first five Golden Retriever breed specialty shows he attended -  this included the 7th Golden Retriever National.    These specialty wins were all won before the age of 18 months.

3rd place in Junior Dog Class

"Super dog, masculine, well made forehand and level topline.  Not as balanced as 1, and a tendency to over-reach. Dark pigment, correct ear set.  Moved with purpose and well handled."

Golden Retriever Club of Queensland Championship show
13 July 2008 - Mrs Barbara Moore (Tiptree Kennels - SA)

1st place in Junior Dog Class and Opposite Sex in Show

"Movement, movement, movement.  As soon as this class came into the ring this is what grabbed me.  A lovely head with good pigment, flowing from the neck into a very level topline.  Good coat.  A very active boy who made  his handler keep up with him."

7th National Golden Retriever Championship Show - Adelaide Sth Australia
20-21 June 2008 - Mrs Marlene Sillence (Canina Kennels - UK)

3rd place in Junior Dog Class

Golden Retriever Club of NSW Inc Championship show
4 May 2008 - Mrs Robyn Williams (Leanr Kennels - NSW)

2nd place in Junior Dog Class

"Well balanced with lovely head and expression, in beautiful coat.  Not the neck into shoulder of number 1 and a little excited on the move, losing his topline, but then settled and moved well."

Golden Retriever Club of NSW Inc Championship show
9 September 2007 - Mrs Barbara Gell (Leithfield Kennels - UK)

3rd place in Baby Puppy Dog Class

"Lovely quality masculine puppy who was a little unsettled on the day but looks very promising. Plenty of bone and nice cream coat. Gentle masculine head with good pigment. Well angulated for his age and moved soundly."
