Lizzie has brains as well as beauty - she always makes sure she is the first one in the house
and keeps herself in immaculate condition so she gets pride of place on the lounge or (her preference) our bed!

Lizzie won extremely well as a youngster, especially at Golden Retriever Championship shows where she won Class in Show awards in three different states.   Although initially a naughty little girl she finally showed her love of showing by the time she hit the puppy class and we have had lots of fun with her.

At the age of 2 Lizzie changed careers and became a mother for the first time, a career choice that she loved even more than performing in the show ring.  At this stage she was 2/3rds of the way to her Championship title.  Lizzie has produced two lovely litters for us and has titled grandchildren from the first litter, and 2 more grandsons having fun in the ring.

Her second litter produced our Gilly and his litter brother Brock, who is shown in South Australia, and their sister Clair, who is shown in New Zealand.  All three youngsters are doing exceedingly well at Specialty show level and we are very proud that Lizzie has passed on her love of showing as well as her impeccable temperament.

Lizzie is the perfect house dog and is  proudly owned, bred and deeply loved by us both.

Sadly on Friday 18th September 2015 my beautiful girl fell gravely ill out of the blue and I had to  let her go

- we will NEVER forget you our most gorgeous Lizzie

Lizzie is pictured above at the age of 15years & 6 months in June 2015 - just ADORE this sweet lady.

See Lizzie above resting on our bed after her big walk to celebrate her 10th birthday, and

Lizzie's kids in SA send her a birthday greeting email and card - see below.
